1. All cats must have been vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Flu within the last twelve months and not less than two weeks prior to boarding. Unneutered cats over 6 months old cannot be boarded.
2. Vaccination certificates must be produced on arrival and left with us for the duration of your cats stay.
3. Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each cat boarded, Pet Pals Boarding Cattery can accept no liability for loss, either from illness, or other cause.
4. Owners at time of booking must make Pet Pals aware of any illness/injury or vet treatment appertaining to their cat(s) and any ongoing treatments that have occurred within the last twelve months and obtain agreement from Pet Pals for boarding. Failure to do so could allow Pet Pals to refuse boarding. Medication can be administered to manageable cats,please bring medication in the boxes prescribed by the vet with the instructions clearly visible.If at any time there is a risk of injury to cattery staff while giving medication then vet advice will be sought at owners cost.The cattery reserves the right to refuse admission of any cat deemed unfit for boarding.
5. Owners give Pet Pals permission for any necessary veterinary treatment during their cat(s) stay and accept that the cats owners will be responsible for any costs incurred by Pet Pals including flea and worm treatment and any transportation costs. Where possible, we will endeavour to use the cats own vets, but the owner gives permission to use Pet Pals own vets, and also agrees to the euthanasia of the cat if the vet deems necessary.
6. Animals delivered or collected by appointment outside of normal opening hours will incur a charge of £20 (for each collection or delivery).
7. Cattery spaced booked is fully payable, and therefore it is regretted that no reductions or refunds can be made should you return early.
8. Prices for boarding are shown on the Boarding Charges page of this website, and are also confirmed at time of booking. Boarding is charged per day and includes any part of any day.
9. Owners agree and consent to Pet Pals using their own toys, scratch furniture and bedding. Pet Pals welcome owners to bring their cats own toys and other items, excluding litter trays. Pet Pals cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to any items left by the cats owners.
10. Pet Pals cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to vehicles whilst on our premises.
11. Pet Pals reserve the right to refuse boarding.
12. We provide a wide range of food, both wet and dry. We will ask what your cat eats, or doesn't eat, in order to make their stay as happy and stress free as possible. We do everything possible to keep their routine the same as at home. We would ask you to bring enough supply of their own food if we do not stock it ie specialist/prescription food. Please note there is no reduction in boarding fees when providing your own food. Please note we cannot feed a raw diet due to hygiene regulations in the cattery.
13. Emergency contacts: In the event of an emergency at the cattery contact will be made with the named emergency contact provided on the booking form,this contact must be able to collect and care for the cat/cats in such an eventuality.
